Learning About Your New Home Journey

  • Meet with your Bank or Mortgage Broker
  • Register online to receive updates on New Horizon communities
  • If sales have begun, book a private appointment with the New Horizon Sales Team.
  • If sales have not yet begun, stay tuned to your email for launch announcements and updates.
  • Find your perfect home match
  • Sign your Agreement of Purchase and Sale with a New Horizon Sales Representative
  • Provide your deposit cheques as outlined in your Agreement.
  • Have your lawyer review the Agreement
  • Obtain your mortgage approval
  • You're officially a New Horizon homeowner!
  • Depending on construction timelines, there may be several weeks or months before your design selections begin. Use this time to:
    • Explore design inspiration and consider finishes, fixtures, and colour palettes you love and read through our Styled magazine.
  • You will be contacted to schedule your one-on-one design consultation.
  • Your Design Consultant will guide you through selecting finishes that suit your style, lifestyle needs, and budget.
  • Need help deciding? Our team can provide insight into current interior trends and features that add value to your investment.
  • Excavation & foundation work begins.
  • Framing & structure take shape.
  • Interior & exterior finishes are completed according to your selections.
  • A New Horizon representative will contact you to schedule your Tarion Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)
  • During your PDI, you'll note any items requiring attention before move-in.
  • Meet again with your Bank or Mortgage Broker to update your mortgage approval.
  • Contact your lawyer to finalize documentation.
  • Set up utilities, home insurance, internet/cable, and home security.
  • Notifying Canada Post of your new address.
  • On your closing or occupancy date, your lawyer and New Horizon's lawyer will complete the transaction.
  • A New Horizon representative will notify you when your keys are ready for pick-up.
  • Welcome home! Step into your brand-new space and start your next chapter.

  • Submit 30 Day Tarion Warranty Report
  • Provide 30 Day Builder Review
  • Submit 1 Year Tarion Warranty Report
  • Provide 1 Year Builder Review
  • Provide 2 Year Warranty Report
  • Submit 7 Year Tarion Warranty Report
