On June 5th, 2024, several team members from the New Horizon Development Group (NHDG) head office took part in a remarkable volunteer effort at NHDG’s 3 North Park Avenue project in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Hamilton. Our office team joined forces with the on-site team and Habitat personnel to work on the construction of the new exterior privacy fences at the property.
The day was marked by a strong sense of camaraderie and dedication, as all team members collaborated with precision to ensure that the highest quality product would be delivered to the future homeowners. It was an empowering experience, highlighting the significance of teamwork and the positive impact it can have on the community.
The upcoming key ceremony on June 26th will celebrate the completion of these two semi-detached homes. These homes, built at no cost to Habitat Hamilton, are a testament to the generosity and commitment of NHDG and its network of trades and suppliers in addressing the affordable housing crisis. The ceremony will mark an exciting milestone for the two families who will soon move into their new homes, and for everyone involved in the project.
