Utopia (n): an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect.
Much like its name, construction at Utopia is moving along perfectly, and this isn’t something we’re just imagining!
In June, the crane was officially removed, marking the completion of concrete pouring for the entire 6-storey building. Exterior cladding, including spray foam and masonry is now underway, marking the end of the signature “bright green” phase of construction – something we can all be excited about!
Inside the building, drywall and insulation is in progress for the interior walls of fourth-floor suites and in the ceilings of first-floor suites. Plumbing, mechanical, and electrical rough-in work has now reached the sixth floor, while elevator frames have been installed, and work is underway to fit them with their carts.
